Mark C. Olsen

Mark Olsen was born and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, and attended the University of Florida, earning a BSBA degree in accounting in 1976 and a JD degree in 1979.  Mark has spent his professional life in Fort Lauderdale, first working with one of the large international CPA firms before beginning his legal career in 1984 as one of the founding partners of Morgan, Olsen & Olsen, LLP.

Mark’s practice includes estate planning and probate and trust administration, real estate and business transactions, residential and commercial title insurance (Owner’s and Lender’s), contract preparation  and forming and organizing companies and related drafting of corporate shareholder agreements and limited liability company operating agreements.

Mark’s probate and trust experience and expertise constitute a major asset to Morgan, Olsen & Olsen, LLP ‘s probate and trust litigation practice.  His accounting and tax background are also important in his estate planning and transactional work, as well as in his handling of 1031 like-kind exchanges.

Mark and his wife live in Plantation.  Mark spends much of his leisure time in the great outdoors, hiking and 4-wheeler riding in the wilds of south central Florida.
